PRIMA Horizontal-Arm Coordinate Measuring Machine represents the state of the art in high-performance cost-effective flexible gaging of large volume workpieces for manufacturing support.
The quality of design and the superior mechanical structure, plus the broad range of probes, heads, and accessories, makes PRIMA a high-performance DCC CMM, easy to use under all operating conditions. The worktable support eliminates the need for costly foundations. The rugged construction is combined with a built-in linear thermal compensation system for reliable operation in production environments. PRIMA CMMs can be equipped with DEA CW43L high-performance servo wrist, laser sensors, continuous scanning probes, and probe and styli changers.
The Prima RI models feature an innovative architecture (Runway integral) that combines the advantages of the integrated workbench of the Console versions to the flexibility and ergonomics of the Runway versions. The workplate of the RI models can be installed flush-floor or even directly on an industrial floor and does not need dedicated foundations up to x strokes of 7000 mm. Prima RI is available in a single or dual arm configuration.
